The 4th Annual Miles for Team Jack Virtual Challenge was a great success, raising $17,000! Over 300 registered participants walked or ran in their communities for Team Jack throughout September! A special thank you to Fleet Feet for organizing the challenge, Applied Connective Technologies for sponsoring the prizes, and CiShirts and Art F/X for donating the t-shirts. On Wednesday, November 15, Kylie Dockter and Shari Gilg from the Team Jack Foundation accepted a check from Lori Borer, owner of Fleet Feet Lincoln and Omaha.
Each week of the challenge, there was a social media contest that the participants were encouraged to complete to be entered for prizes. The challenges ranged from Jog with your Dog to Go Big Red on your Run! In addition, prizes were awarded to the top individual fundraiser, top team fundraiser, top commenter/poster on social media, and more. Congratulations to all the prize winners! All participants received a Miles for Team Jack Medal and an event t-shirt.
Proceeds from Miles for Team Jack support Team Jack’s mission to fund impactful childhood brain cancer research. The combined four-year total raised from Miles for Team Jack is nearly $77,000!
