Miles for Team Jack is a month-long running/walking challenge hosted by Fleet Feet benefiting the Team Jack Foundation. Participants choose their mileage option and set their goal for the month. They can walk or run their miles and can participate as individuals or as a team! Prizes are up for grabs throughout the month!

September 24, 2026

The Team Jack Radiothon presented by The Home Agency will be live from Elwood, Nebraska! This event is broadcast on over 25 radio stations throughout Nebraska and shares stories from families affected by brain cancer. Proceeds benefit child brain cancer research.

Fall 2026 – TBD

The $5 Bits of Broken Chair Trophy is a rivalry fundraiser between the Nebraska Huskers and the Minnesota Golden Gophers! In eight years, over $212,000 has been raised for the two charities combined. In 2026 the Huskers and Gophers aren’t scheduled in football, so the rivalry game will be a volleyball match TBD between the two teams. Check back for updates!

December 6, 2026

The 5th Annual Takedown the Tumor Youth Wrestling Tournament will be held on December 6, 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska. Proceeds from the event benefit Team Jack’s Childhood Brain Tumor Program at UNMC & Children’s Nebraska in Omaha, NE.

February 27, 2027

The Team Jack Gala presented by Fat Brain Toys is the largest annual fundraiser for the Foundation. The 2026 Gala featured Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach and former Nebraska quarterback, Zac Taylor as the keynote speaker. Over $800,000 was raised for childhood brain cancer at the 2026 event.  

Summer 2027

The 5th Annual Team Jack Golf Classic was held on Tuesday, June 23 at Tiburon Golf Club in Omaha, Nebraska! The 2025 event was once again presented by Omaha Steaks, and raised more than $75,000 for childhood brain cancer research! More than 30 former Nebraska athletes participated in the event!
