Why Run for Team Jack?
Childhood brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death among children, yet it continues to receive only a small fraction of federal cancer research funding. Since 2013, Team Jack has raised more than $17 million and funded 21 research projects focused on finding better treatments and cures for children diagnosed with brain tumors. Team Jack has also committed $6.5 million toward the development of the Nebraska Childhood Brain Tumor Program at UNMC and Children’s Nebraska.
When you fundraise for Team Jack, you’re helping accelerate research and bring hope to families across Nebraska and around the world.
