Team Jack is the official charity of The Nebraska Marathon, and we need your help!

On September 5, runners from across Nebraska and beyond will gather at Werner Park in Papillion for the inaugural Nebraska Marathon. The event will feature a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K options. The Nebraska Marathon features a USATF-certified, Boston-qualifying course and offers participants the opportunity to be part of a brand-new Nebraska running tradition.

We are in need of volunteers for race day and invite you to sign up!
When – Saturday, September 5th, 2026 from 5:45 am to 1:00 pm (half shifts available)
Where (Event site) – Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way, Papillion, NE 68046
Who – Volunteers will meet All Community Events staff underneath the red registration tents.

What – Tasks range from participant check-in, registration, to water stations, on-course help, post-race hydration and medals.

Volunteers will receive a FREE t-shirt at the end of their shift. For race day, wear what’s comfortable and weather appropriate.
