Midland University’s Team Jack Event

The Midland University Men’s Basketball team is hosting a fundraiser and awareness event on January 7 and 8, 2022. The event will kick off with a free youth basketball clinic on Friday evening. Then on Saturday, the Midland Warriors take on the Morningside Mustangs. The public is invited to attend to support the Warriors and Team Jack! Midland’s head coach, Oliver Drake, and his family have experienced childhood brain cancer firsthand with the diagnosis of their daughter, Stella, in May 2020. After surgery, Stella has been receiving routine scans to monitor for tumor regrowth but is doing well. We are blessed to have Coach Drake and his team helping us raise awareness and research funds for the leading cancer cause of death in children.
FREE Team Jack Youth Basketball Clinic:

- Each camper will receive:
- 2 hours of basketball instruction from Midland Basketball players/coaches
- T-Shirt
- Pizza
- Gatorade
- Free admission to our Midland Men’s Basketball Game on January 8th for our Team Jack Night

Please make plans to join us for Team Jack Night at the Midland University Men’s Basketball game on January 8, 2022! We will be raising awareness and funds for Team Jack throughout the event and cheering on the Warriors! Families affected by childhood brain cancer will be in attendance as well!
