Make-A-Wish Nebraska

For a child battling a critical illness like brain cancer, Make-A-Wish® can be a game-changer. Wishes are more than just gifts or exciting events. Wishes bring joy and hope to everyone—wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities.

Since its inception, Make-A-Wish® Nebraska has granted over 2,750 children’s wishes. And there are many more children who qualify and need to be referred. You can recruit your family and friends to ensure your child and other eligible children receive the power of a wish at the time they need it most. Click here to learn more and refer a child today.

Heartland Cancer Foundation
The Heartland Cancer Foundation (HCF) is a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to low-income cancer patients in 18 counties in southeast Nebraska.

The financial burdens that often accompany a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. HCF believes families facing cancer should be able to focus on healing, without financial stresses. Their programs include assistance for housing, car payments, gas cards and utilities.
